When TOHO announced they would be bringing fans another chapter in the Godzilla saga, directors Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi promised a film of epic proportions. After viewing the following trailer – it appears they intend to deliver. Check out the awesomeness that is Godzilla Resurgence.
Hitting Japanese theaters on July 29th – TOHO has yet to give us a firm US release date – will it be theatrical? Will it be VOD? No one knows but after seeing that trailer – lets hope we find out sooner than later.
Really love the look and size of Gojira this time around – what’s up with the lava or blood undertones? So freaking cool!
Lets hope they let Godzilla be Godzilla in this one – no earth protecting superhero – just a pissed off super lizard that loves to destroy things. Fingers crossed. Updates as information warrants.
