Scream Factory Rolls Out A Trailer And Release Details For ‘The Editor’

First making big noise at last years TIFF the giallo homage The Editor was quickly snatched up by distributor extraordinaire Scream Factory and today they rolled out the release details as well as a nice looking little trailer.  Have a look and then we’ll talk specifics after.

September 8th is the selected day for the Blu-ray and DVD roll out and the story goes as such:

“Rey Ciso (Adam Brooks) was once the greatest editor the world had ever seen. Since a horrific accident left him with four wooden fingers on his right hand, he’s had to resort to cutting pulp films and trash pictures. When the lead actors from the film he’s been editing turn up murdered at the studio, Rey is fingered as the number one suspect. The bodies continue to pile up in this absurdist giallo-thriller as Rey struggles to prove his innocence and learn the sinister truth lurking behind the scenes.”

Part homage part parody The Editor comes to us from Astron 6 alumni Adam Brooks and Matthew Kennedy and while the target audience may be select word his that they guys hit it out of the park.

The eclectic cast includes Paz de la Huerta, Samantha Hill , Laurence R. Harvey, Adam Brooks, Matthew Kennedy, Conor Sweeney, Tristan Risk, and Udo Kier.
