Greetings, Diabolique Readers!

It was a very busy week indeed for the world of horror and entertainment with 96 hours of New York Comic Con, undoubtedly the biggest media event on the East Coast. With exclusive first looks at many of this years upcoming television shows and films, Diabolique made itself known through jam-packed coverage of many of this years hottest horror projects, including interviews, panel coverage and exclusive photos from the event.

One of the most exciting opportunities that the 2013 New York Comic Con had for Diabolique was the chance to check out the upcoming horror slate from WWE Studios. Following our talk with those behind the rebirth of the See No Evil series, Diabolique was able to speak to those behind the reboot of the Leprechaun franchise for WWE Studios’ Leprechaun: Origins. At the helm of the film is Zach Lipovsky, whose journey from child actor to writer / producer to director is nothing short of fascinating, and is more than modest when approached with the pressure of reforming a franchise, as you can tellfrom his chat at the WWE Studios Roundtable. You can check out the interview with Zach Lipovsky below!

Leprechaun: Origins, directed by Zach Lipovsky and starring Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl, Brendan Fletcher, Stephanie Bennett, Bruce Blain and Andrew Dunbar, will be released by WWE Studios and Lionsgate Entertainment in 2014. For more from Zach Lipovsky, you can visit his official website here and you can follow him on Twitter: @zachlipovsky. For more from WWE Studios, you can visit their official website and follow it on Twitter: @WWEStudios. For more on Leprechaun: Origins, Zach Lipovsky and WWE Studios, check back here at DiaboliqueMagazine.com, and don’t forget to keep an eye out for more coverage of New York Comic Con!
