New Trailer For ‘Pride And Prejudice And Zombies’ Highlights ‘Where It All Began’

To state I was underwhelmed but the first PPZ trailer would be a huge understatement.  I actually pretty much hated that first trailer and I had for the most part written this one off but….

That all changes now.  A new trailer has been released – actually more accurately – a teaser but, it is so much better than our last look – here, have a look:

Now we’re talking!

In case your among the uninitiated, here’s what PPZ brings to the table:

A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.

Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance, and Lena Headey all star while Burr Steers handles directing chores.  We’ve got a Feb. 5th release date on this one.  Not much longer to wait.
