NBC Announces Engagement To The ‘Brides of Dracula’

NBC is once again committing to bring more horror to the network.  Deadline is reporting that the network has give a “pilot production commitment” for Brides of Dracula which gives the show-runners reason to start gearing up for production.

Writers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Greg Berlanti have apparently caught the attention of those that make the decisions at NBC with their take on Dracula mythos that will tell the tale as:

“a sexy reimagining of Dracula as a family drama with a trio of strong, diverse female leads, a show about empowered women and the things they do to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy — and their non-traditional family.”

No word on when we might actually see this or who might star but the ball is now rolling so check back for updates as I’ll be throwing them at you as they come in.
