The Mo Brothers’ KILLERS Picked Up, Tjahjanto Moves On To THE NIGHT COMES FOR US

Killers Picked Up For Distribution

The Park City at Midnight favorite Killers has been picked up by distributor Well Go USA Entertainment. Killers is the latest from the Mo Brothers, Timo Tjahjanto and Kimo Stamboel, and stars Kazuki Kitamura, Oka Antara, Rin Takanashi, Luna Maya, and Ray Sahetapy. Well Go USA plans to release Killers during the fourth quarter of 2014 nationwide.

“In the film, two serial killers, on Japanese and one Indonesian, post their violent crimes online in a psychotic battle for notoriety. It soon becomes clear that they will square off with one another face to face.”

You might recognize Timo Tjahjanto from his shocking entries from The ABCs of Death and V/H/S/2, along with the 2009 film Macabre, on which he collaborated with Kimo Stamboel, the other half of the Indonesian Mo Brothers. If his track record serves as any indicator, Killers will likely be just as terrifying.

Set to be released in 2015 by Radius-TWC, Timo Tjahjanto will next be helming the action thriller The Night Comes For Us. The Night Comes For Us will have Tjahjanto working again with Killers producer Gareth Evans (The Raid: Redemption), who he also collaborated with on his V/H/S/2 segment. Tjahjanto will direct while Evans fills the role of producer and the director of action — a promising combination.
