LA-Based production company Lone Suspect, headed by Vincent Masciale and Luke Barnett (best known for their Funny Or Die video, including their Game of Thrones Halloween sketch), have begun principle photography on their upcoming debut FEAR, INC. The horror-comedy have compiled quite a cast of stars, including Lucas Neff (Raising Hope), Caitlin Stasey (Reign), Chris Marquette (Alpha Dog) and Stephanie Drake (Mad Men). The supporting cast even pull in two beloved character actors with Patrick Renna (Ham from The Sandlot) and Richard Riehle, who fans will remember played Tom Smykowski (creator of Jump to Conclusions) in Mike Judge’s Office Space.

According to the Press Release, “Fear, INC. follows a company of degenerates who can be hired for a premium to bring your greatest fears to life. But when horror junkie Joe Foster’s customized scare seemingly begins, he and his friends must decide if this company is there to scare them, or make them pawns in their own sick game.” Expanded from an earlier short film, the script will be handled by Luke Barnett with Masciale taking over directorial duties, and will mark the team’s first foray into feature film. Masciale has high hopes for the project, stating that “with the self referential humor of films like Scream and Cabin in the Woods and our background with Funny or Die, the goal is to add a large comedic element to the dark material.” Keep an eye on this page for more information as it develops.
