Joe Dante’s horror resume is long and impressive. The Howling, Gremlins, and his Masters of Horror entry, Homecoming, being my personal favorites and, while Mr. Dante’s absence from the horror arena has been noticeable, the good news is that absence is about to end.
Burying The Ex is his next offering and after much hype and discussion we can today bring you the first look at the film via this brand new trailer.
Looks like the Dante dark humor is in full swing. Starring Anton Yelchin, Alexandra Daddario, and Ashley Green, Burying the Ex tells the following tale:
“Max is dating the overbearing Evelyn who he’s afraid to break up with. When she’s killed in a freak accident, he falls in love with Olivia, with whom he is much better suited. However Evelyn rises from the grave.”
June 19th will bring the VOD roll out and I’m sure there will be Blu-ray info in our future.
