15-PosterGravestone Entertainment, and the team behind the films ’15 Murders’, ‘American Bully’ (with Adrienne King) and ‘The Devil Knows His Own’ (with Eileen Dietz) have signed the 2015 Gravestone Girls team to a 3 film deal that will begin shooting in early 2015, with the first sneak peak at the franchise project happening at the Crypticon Seattle horror convention in May.

‘The Cutting Room’ will film primarily in the Pacific NW, and has already secured distribution through a new distribution label, with Charity Glick, former director of VOD for Accort International and Maxim Media, acting as sales representative for the franchise. With all 3 of writer/director Jason Hawkins’ first films available on VOD and DVD, things look good for ‘The Cutting Room’ to find its target audience and leave its mark on the horror genre.

The Gravestone Girls team consists of six actresses, including best actress nominee and scream queen award winner Dara Davey, fellow scream queen award winner Alicia Rose, Natasha Timpani, Cami Marie, Desiree Gaoiran, and Alysse Fozmark. The team has worked extensively with the production company, appearing at festivals and conventions up and down the west coast in support of their previous films, and several of the actresses will also work behind the scenes, taking on more of an active leadership role in the direction of the company and the production of the series.

American-BullyJoining the girls in the franchise is actor Kevin Crow, who will play the titular villain in the series. Kevin will play a character known only as “Mr. Snow”; a character that writer/director Jason Hawkins says will haunt audiences long after the film ends. Kevin is a Gravestone veteran, having tackled the impossibly creepy role of Father Wills in the feature film ‘The Devil Knows His Own’.

Award-winning director Jason Hawkins will write and direct the first 3 films in the series, bringing his unique vision to the project in what he promises will be a gore-filled thrill ride that will bring real scares back to the screen; and while Jason Hawkins is listed as the writer/director, he has added that there will be several unique and interesting ways for additional directors and filmmakers to become involved with this project, with more information to come.
