FRIGHT NIGHT WEEK: Exclusive “Fright Night 2” First Stills!

Diabolique Readers! It’s Fright Night 2, and this time, it’s for real!

The sequel to Craig Gillespie’s 2011 Fright Night remake is upon us, ready to unleash more of the stylized, reflexive horror with a wicked sense of humor to the genre world again. A twist on the same premise without treading on the same tracks as its predecessor, Charlie (Will Payne), “Evil” Ed (Chris Waller), Peter Vincent (Sean Power) and Amy (Sacha Parkinson) are back again, but this time, our Dandridge gets a make-over, as Dexter’s Jamie Murray appears as Gerri Dandridge, Charlie’s seductive—and blood-sucking—professor. Directed by Eduardo Rodriguez, the film will see the light of day on October 1st on DVD / Blu-ray from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

And while buzz begins to brood for this mysterious and impending franchise reimagining, 20th Century Fox is turning Diabolique’s FRIGHT NIGHT WEEK into something special, as we have the EXCLUSIVE first stills from the film below! Check them out, let us know what you think and if you think they’re “so cool”, then share them on Twitter and Facebook, and turn your friends onto Fright Night 2!

  1. While I’ll definitely give this one a try, I do hate not seeing the really strong cast of the 2011 remake. I absolutely loved David Tennant in it.

  2. How is it a sequel if characters who are killed off in the 2011 remake are in it?
