Crowdfunder for British independent movie DERELICT from the award-winning team behind successful horror Wyvern Hill has reached 30% of its £30,000 in just 7 days, smashing through £10,000 of pledges.

From the makers of last year’s festival favourite Wyvern Hill, Derelict is a harrowing and violent revenge thriller which focuses both on a daughter’s revenge and the circumstances that have led to the murder of her father. Soaked in the tradition of the British film noir, it proposes a series of unusual characters dropped in situations that are beyond them and will have repercussions beyond their imagination.

As well as making big strides with their targets, the Derelict have added a few new perks in the form of a giant A0 poster, designed and signed by the team’s very on Mike Coombes and the opportunity to be an extra the movie, spending a day on set, meeting the cast and crew and eventually seeing yourself on the big screen at the premiere.

Jonathan says, “We’re so grateful for all the support for our dark, gritty drama. Derelict is a bleak, violent tale of revenge and empowerment, blending full colour and black and white, it’s going to blow away your expectations. We’ve smashed our target for the first week but need to keep the contributions coming to make this project a reality. We’re delighted that we’ve smashed our target for the first week but need to keep the contributions coming to make this project a reality. Please back Derelict any way you can, we’re desperate to bring our gritty thriller to life.”

The crowdfunder campaign is now live on Indiegogo with a range of other perks to suit any budget from an online social media thank you, limited edition blu-rays, original hand-painted artwork through to producer credits on the movie.
