Competition: Your Chance to Win Split (2017), The Visit (2015) and Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) on Blu-ray

M. Night Shyamalan continued his resurgence earlier this year with the psychological thriller, Split. The film stars James McAvoy as Kevin, a kidnapper with 23 unique personalities whose captives must find a way to appeal to his more co-operative alter egos before the 24th – known simply as “The Beast” – emerges and spells certain doom for the victims.

Split was both a commercial and critical success for Shyamalan, having spent three weeks at the top of the U.S. box office and finding success overseas.  Whether you love or loathe the polarising director’s work, Split was a victory for genre cinema and has hopefully opened up the door for more original films to follow suit.  It’s a divisive film – but it’s a wacky premise and we need more films in the mainstream on an island unto themselves.  Even a Shyamalan misfire is admirable in its attempts to be different, but with Split he seems to be back on top form and in the good graces of genre aficionados.

To celebrate the release of Split (arriving on Blu-ray 4/18), Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Diabolique are offering one North American reader the chance to win a free Blu-ray bundle pack featuring the film along with Shyamalan’s previous acclaimed genre outing, The Visit (2015), and Mike Flanagan’s chiller, Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016).  To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is sign-up for our newsletter here.

The winner will be chosen at random.  Please remember that this only applies to readers in the United States and Canada.

Split will be available on Blu-ray/DVD on April 18.  It is currently available on Digital HD.
